ARTIST'S STATEMENT
My work is rooted in memory, landscape, myth, and the body.
Across painting, photography, and mixed media, I am drawn to charged subjects: stone, water, ruins, animals, vessels, thresholds, weather, hair, hands, and the human figure.
My work often returns to women, stone, and wild landscapes. I have recurring obsessions with themes of endurance, grief, sensuality, transformation, and survival.
“More than myself is present.” — Paul Caponigro
